A mighty boogie soul funk “Dadmandog – Low Level (Remastered)” will be released on Tuesday, November 1 at 8 am in NY time. Dadmandog will release a digitally remastered version of “Low Level,” a straight-ahead boogie that is a must-listen for 80s soul funk lovers, on Wednesday, November 1 via DDCAT Records.
The title track, which begins abruptly with a tight, phat bass line, is old-school boogie funk reminiscent of early 80s disco. Following the original and instrumental versions, a special “Soulful House Remix” is coupled.
Pre-order will be available on the Bandcamp from October 22 (Sat), prior to the official release. As a special pre-order bonus, you can get the special remix version “Low Level – Soulful House Remix” at earliest possibility.

Low Level (Remastered)” is the fourth release of Dadmandog’s “Digital “Reissue” Project” series, which began in 2021. The project has garnered attention worldwide as a series of remastering of “Undiscovered Classic Funk” by the unknown artist. Following the previous release, “You Should Know (Remastered),” the upbeat, danceable tunes are full of Japanese city pop tastes and a unique floating boogie feel, which recalls the disco movement that swept Japan in the late 70s to early 80s.
This is a must-listen release for all funk lovers, along with the previous three releases.

The undercover funk project “Dadmandog” brings pure soul funk from 80s – The Dadmandog Digital “Reissue” Project” was launched in the summer of 2021 with the release of “In The Morning (Remastered)”. So far, four titles have been released (“reissued”).
All biography is undisclosed and there is no clue to know if they are a unit, band or a single producer. There are rumors that it may be an undercover project by famous musicians, but the details remain shrouded in mystery at this point.
Because Dadmandog’s songs recalls disco and soul funk vibes from the early 1980s, there are rumors that the tracks may be a “40-year-later release of unpublished recordings made in the 1980s” or a “digital release of rare tapes that were rarely available in the market in the 1980s,” but these are all just guesses with no evidence.
